Solar Farms/Mini-Grid
A photovoltaic power station, also known as a solar park or solar farm, is a large-scale photovoltaic system (PV system) designed for the supply of merchant power into the electricity grid. They are differentiated from most building-mounted and other decentralised solar power applications because they supply power at the utility level, rather than to a local user or users. The generic expression utility-scale solar is sometimes used to describe this type of project.

A Solar dryer uses solar energy to dry substances , especially food. There are two types of Solar dryers, direct and indirect. Direct solar dryers expose the substance to be dehydrated to direct sunlight. Indirect solar dryers, use black absorbing surface which heats incoming air rather than directly heating the substance to be dried.
This heated air is then passed over the substance to be dried and exits upward through a chimney taking moisture released for the
substance with it.
